The L.O.V.E. City Community Development Corporation is a 501c3 organization which plans to play a major role in community transformation in Harris County, East Houston. We are aware of the need of more programming for youth who need supervision and direction so that they can become more productive citizens. As a result, we have launched The L.O.V.E. City Community Development Project.

The L.O.V.E. City Community Development Project will focus on three areas: Fitness, Fun, and Fostering. The fitness component will focus on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Many of the youth in our area lack of the proper physical activities and information that lead to a healthy lifestyle. L.O.V.E. City will also create a safe environment for youth to have safe fun via indoor-outdoor recreational activities, fishing, and other interactive activities.

Finally, L.O.V.E. City will have a fostering component which will serve as a mentoring program teaching various life skills to the youth, ranging from financial literacy, proper social etiquette, proper attire, along with other important life skills and character education. We will also have a huge focus on academic excellence as a part of our fostering. Our fostering component will also include an interactive focus to bridge the gap between our local law enforcement and the community.

We believe that organized after school and weekend supervised programs not only keep youth out of trouble, but also significantly improves their academic achievement. L.O.V.E. City will provide underserved youth with positive alternatives in a safe and structured environment with a program that teaches life skills and character education.

We believe that a better youth equates to a better community, and that a better community equates to a better city, and that a better city equates to a better state, which inevitably equates to a better nation.

The L.O.V.E City Community Development Project is looking for community partners who will invest in the transformation and operation of this outreach to transform this underserved community. We believe that the L.O.V.E. City Community Development Project is consistent with the heart’s desire of many concerned citizens and hope that you will find it in your heart to support this much-needed program. We respect that many corporations will not give to religious organizations therefore, we have set up this nonprofit division to accommodate these contributors.
